What are the start-up costs?
The startup costs range anywhere from $276,300 to $609,625***. This range includes our franchise fee, initial training, travel expenses to and from training, insurance for 3 months, business license and permits, vehicle(s), vehicle(s) wrap advertising, equipment/supplies/inventory, software purchase and license fees, internet 3 months, showroom/warehouse/office, professional fees, and additional funds 3 months. If you are running an existing remodeling business and have some of the above items needed to open, we will take this into consideration. ***See item 7 of the current FDD for additional information.

What are the ongoing fees?Royalty of 5-6% of installed sales or a minimum of $575 per month for year 1.

Do we help with financing?We work closely with Third Party Vendors that will assist in getting your business financed. The most common financing option is an SBA loan. Banks will typically finance 70-90% of the startup costs.

Do I need remodeling experience?No, we do not want our franchisees to remodel bathrooms. We want them in a CEO role and our model always you to scale quicker. We want our franchisees to work on the business and not in the business.

Do we offer training?We offer lead setter training, sales training, installer training, training for our franchisees on the ops manual, and systems training for our CRM and various dashboards. You hire and we can train your employees.

How many product options are there?
We have our own proprietary product DuraBath™, DuraBath™ NS, tub to shower conversion bases, replacement bathtubs, walk-in bathtubs, and bathtub liners. Any other product you would need to remodel the full bathroom we have national vendor partners. We have you completely covered with product. For easy cleaning and maintenance all product options are grout free.

Are there enough product options?We have 13 different textures and patterns for our acrylic wall surrounds. We can make something look like real tile or stone. We have over 10 different natural stone options to choose from. Over 9 different plumbing fixture options. 27 different flooring options ranging from Vinyl, LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), Tile, wood looks, and natural stone looks. 4 different cabinet options and 8 different countertops and 5 different toilets.

Can I take on custom bath projects and tile jobs?Majority of our franchisees steer away from custom baths and tile jobs. Custom baths take an average of 21 days (about 3 weeks) or more to complete. Tile jobs can take anywhere between 1-2 weeks. Our customers want us in and out of the home and this allows us to provide them with a better experience. This also helps our franchisees focus more on volume and take on more jobs throughout the year. Our franchisees focus on pulling and replacing which allow our jobs to be completed in as quickly as 1-2 business days if it is a wet area job or 3-5 business days if it is a full and complete bathroom.

What types of services do we offer?Tub/Shower area updates (1-2 business days), full and complete bathrooms (3-5 business days), and aging in place (1-5 business days).

Do I need a designer on staff?No, our franchisees hire design consultants who are sales representatives. We provide your sales reps with a Re-Bath design guide which an actual designer put together. The guide will start with one of our DuraBath™ acrylic wall surrounds or DuraBath™ NS (natural stone) wall surrounds. The customer will choose a wall panel and then the design guide will share with the customer a Re-Bath recommendation on flooring that pairs well, fixtures that pair well etc.

Partnership with Big Box Stores

Does Re-Bath install items sold off the shelf at a big box retailer?
No, Re-Bath is an SF & I (Sell, Furnish & Install) provider for our partners in national accounts. This means the retailer is solely a lead referral source. They have marketing materials for consumers throughout the store consumers about the partnerships and the program, which customers can take as they walk by. Sales associates will capture the retailer’s customer contact info if they are interested in a bath remodel. Next, they will pass the lead on directly to the local franchisee. Our franchisees have full control of the lead from the first call to products and installation.

How do I get my leads?Re-Bath runs National TV on HGTV, Fox News, CNN, and Magnolia Network. We have a consumer site as well where we invest in PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO to drive leads to the website. You will have a microsite that speaks to your local Re-Bath franchise. We will also provide you with any marketing collateral you will need to locally advertise your franchise (TV commercials, flyers, print ads, email blasts, etc). Lastly, we have a national and exclusive partnership with Lowe’s which is another exceptional lead source for our franchisees.

What type of customer are we targeting?Middle to upper middle income, young professionals, empty nesters, and older customers who plan to age in place. Customers where the bath remodel starts with a need but can also add in some wants.
